These Second-Year Written and Spoken English language courses are intended for students whose ambition is to become translators and/or interpreters.  This is not English language for touring the world. Indeed, translators and interpreters must have an intimate understanding of the structure of both their mother tongue and the foreign languages.  

The aim of these courses is to bring students face to face with the hidden difficulties of English in order that they may better come to grips with them.
